Our Founder
TJ Scaparotti, a native of Medford, Massachusetts, was raised in a community that shaped his values and resilience. Born and bred in this city, he honed his skills and character, eventually graduating from Malden Catholic High School in the class of ’97.
His standout talent in ice hockey became evident early on, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. Entering the world of Division 1 hockey at UMass Amherst in Massachusetts, Scaparotti’s prowess on the ice was exemplary. His dedication and skill propelled him into the professional phase of hockey, where he showcased his abilities in the competitive arena.
However, this phase of his life was not without its challenges. Struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction as he transitioned out of professional hockey, Scaparotti faced a difficult period in his life. Determined to overcome these adversities, he sought treatment and support in Florida, embarking on a journey toward recovery and healing.
Armed with personal experience and a profound understanding of the challenges individuals face in battling addiction and mental health issues, Scaparotti delved into the field of rehabilitation and recovery. For a decade, he dedicated himself to helping others on their paths to recovery, drawing from his journey and the knowledge gained through his work.
Driven by an unwavering commitment to making a difference, Scaparotti eventually realized his dream of establishing a treatment center. His facility was designed to cater to individuals struggling with alcoholism, substance abuse, and mental health challenges, providing a haven for those seeking recovery.
A pivotal turning point in his life came with his involvement in Alcoholics Anonymous in 2015. Since then, Scaparotti has taken great pride in being an active community member, providing support, guidance, and hope to those navigating their recovery journeys.
Above all, TJ Scaparotti is a beacon of resilience, using his struggles and triumphs to uplift and inspire others. His commitment to serving the community and his dedication to guiding individuals through their darkest moments define his legacy as a compassionate leader in addiction recovery and mental health advocacy.
